The Shippon @ Woodside Farm

The accommodation

The Shippon at Woodside Farm is a comfortable, stylish self-catering home-from-home situated between Audlem and Nantwich. Tucked away in the countryside it has easy access to the facilities of both towns, and excellent connections to the M6 (junctions 15, 16 or 17), the railway network at Crewe, local and national cycle routes, and a number of long distance walking paths.

The Shippon offers two good sized bedrooms, one with a king size bed and en-suite shower room, the other with twin beds which can be configured as a superking size double on request. There is a separate “family” bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster etc and plenty of cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots and pans and utensils. There is a dishwasher and a washer/dryer for clothes.

The sitting/dining area overlooks the large garden to which guests have access via double french doors. There is a 50″ TV with all the usual TV/streaming apps (though you will need your own log-in details, of course, for paid services on these) and a soundbar which can be bluetoothed either to the TV or to your own media services. There is a log burner in the sitting room.

There is fast wifi access and, in the winter months, central heating throughout the property. We have a Type 2 7kW electric vehicle charger. This can be made available to guests for a £20 (cash) deposit, with actual usage charged at 20p per kWhr (offpeak) or 40p/kWhr (peak), settling up (either way) on departure. [There are otherwise fast chargers available at Bridgemere Garden Centre or in Nantwich.]

Everything is provided for you to enjoy a comfortable stay at The Shippon. If anything is missing, or if you have left anything you need behind, we live next door and will try to help where we can.

Dogs

We are sorry but we cannot accommodate dogs at The Shippon. We have our own dogs and a very inquisitive cat who, despite all our best efforts, will sometimes manage to work her way into the accommodation. If she does, please just (gently) throw her out.
